Right across from Waimea beach on the north-shore of Oahu.

Have your luau confirmation ready. A printed hard copy or a screenshot on your device will do.
Waimea Valley Admission
Waimea Valley hike and waterfall are closed on Mondays in January, February, October, and November. However, the luau operates as scheduled! On these Mondays, the gates open 30 minutes before your luau’s start time:

You can still return to hike or visit the waterfall any day from Tuesday to Sunday free of charge using this luau confirmation. Your Waimea Valley access pass is valid for 7 days before and after your luau.
All Other Days:
Waimea Valley is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Allow 2-3 hours to enjoy the hike, swim, and prepare for your luau start time. Swimming at the falls is subject to daily conditions, and lifeguards make the final call by 9:00 AM. Please call (808) 638-7766 for swimming updates. Even if swimming is unavailable, the hike through Waimea’s Botanical Garden is highly recommended for its breathtaking natural beauty.

For bookings 1-15 people, cancellation must be made 24-hours prior to luau date to qualify for a full refund.

For group bookings 15-30 people, cancellation must be made 1-week prior to luau date to qualify for a full refund.

For group bookings 30+, cancellations must be made 1-month prior to luau date to qualify for a full refund.

Cancellations made outside of the above parameters are non-refundable.

"We chose the 1pm luau. We headed out early to enjoy the Botanical Gardens and hike to the waterfall (admission included w/ Luau). The Food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The shows were enjoyable, especially the fire show! Doing the 1pm show allowed us to end the night, by crossing the street to Waimea Bay Beach to watch the beautiful Sunset."

Difference between 1pm and 5pm luau?
No difference. Everything is the same except for the start times. Both luaus are equally entertaining and culturally immersive.
Here are some tips for you to consider about the 1pm luau:
It finishes earlier in the evening at 4pm, making it a better option for families with young children, and for those who are driving from Waikiki.
If you're planning on catching the Public bus or Uber, 1pm would be a better option for you since it's a challenge to find transportation on the Northshore after 7pm.
Another factor you might overlook until you get to Hawaii is the time difference. 4pm Hawaiian time is equivalent to 7pm or 10pm your local time depending on where you are visiting from.
Are there changing rooms by the fall?
Yes
After going through the valley can I go home and come back for the luau?
Yes you can. If you're staying close by. Otherwise bring a pair of change.
Can I go through the valley on a separate day?
Your Waimea Access Pass is good for the week before your luau and the week after it.
Last check-in is at 3:50 so come early! Allow yourself at least 2 hours to explore the valley.
Will the luau still go on even when it rains?
Yes, we have the option of holding all activities indoors.
Is swimming always allowed at the Waimea Valley Waterfalls?
Swimming at Waimea falls is dependent on daily waterfall conditions.
Lifeguards make the swim call for the day at 9am.
